WoSE - Workflow Optimisation Services for e-Science Applications

This two year project, which is led by the Welsh e-Science Centre at the Cardiff University, brings together researchers at the London e-Science Centre and the CCLRC at the Daresbury Laboratory to investigate and build services to optimise workflow for e-Science applications.

Many e-Science applications exploit distributed services to carry out their work. The goal of this project is to investigate mechanisms for defining and expressing workflow languages and then approaches to optimising the workflow to minimise execution time.
