Multi-user Multi-job Resource Utilisation - DataGrid Project

DataGrid Project:

DataGrid is a European Union funded project to build the next generation computing infrastructure for compute and data-intensive scientific experiments that involve the generation and analysis of shared large-scale databases, ranging from TeraBytes to PetaBytes, across widely distributed scientific communities. One such instrument is the Large Hadron Collider, currently under construction at CERN, that will generate several PetaBytes of data each year. The data from the CMS detector will need to be analysed by a distributed community of over 1800 scientists located in over 150 institutions spread over 32 countries.
