Project Goals: This project focuses on two aspects: the technical suitability of CAS for use by the VO's within the UK e-science programme and the ability of this infrastructure to be administered by a distributed management team. This will involve: Deploying CAS (GridFTP server and the gatekeeper) onto resources at LeSC, GSC and ESNW. Defining a policy language able to specify access to a web server resource and provide a modified Apache server (through the module mechanism) that 'understands' the restricted proxy and the associated policy language. Developing a web-based portal to manage the CAS through its own policy language.
